Fr. Samuel Ward

Father Samuel W. Ward was ordained a Priest for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles on the Feast of the Visitation on May 31, 2003. Father Sam was Pastor of St. Helen Church in South Gate, CA from 2008-2013. Archbishop Jose H. Gomez appointed him as Associate Director of Vocations in 2013. He lives in residence at Holy Family Church in Glendale.
Father Sam served on the Council of Priests for many years, including as Secretary/Treasurer for two years. He has been a member of the Confraternity of Catholic Clergy, a fraternal group of Catholic priests, for 13 years and has served as Chaplain at St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy in Downey for 13 years as well.
Father Sam received a M.A. Theology and M. Divinity from St. John's Seminary in Camarillo, CA in 2003 and a B.A. Philosophy from St. John's Seminary College in 2000. He graduated from UC Irvine Cum Laude with a B.A. History and B.A. Psychology & Social Behavior (1995).
Fr. Steve Davoren
Rev. Steve Davoren was ordained in 1996 by Cardinal Mahony. He has been an Associate Pastor and a Pastor for 17 years. Currently, Fr. Steve is the Vocation Director for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He served as a Police Officer with LAPD and a Deputy Sheriff with LASD.

Sr. Cecilia, Vicar for Women Religious
Sister Cecilia serves the general population of consecrated women. She is assisted by the Archdiocesan Advisory Council of Consecrated Women, an advisory group that deals with issues pertaining to various facets in meeting the needs of the people of God within the local Church and planning events for the consecrated women of the Archdiocese. Together they plan various events for consecrated women and the annual meeting of the Archbishop with the Major Superiors of Women Religious, which assists in the identification and planning of projects and programs for the sisters in the Archdiocese.
In her own words to the sisters: “Every day continues to be an adventure in learning! I am enjoying the opportunities to know more about the wonderful things religious are doing throughout the Archdiocese. Thank you for the incredible ways you are serving and witnessing to God’s love.”
